Ms. Sarah Elizabeth Armstrong, 18, of Symsonia died on Sunday, February 26 in Paducah.
She was a senior at Marshall County High School and was also a waitress for Majestic Steakhouse in Draffenville. She was on the Marshall County Track Team, was a member of the Marshall County Culinary Club, Spanish Club, and also Early Child Development at MCHS. She was attending Murray State University through the Thoroughbred Academy for Early Childhood Development.
Surviving are her parents, Louie Armstrong, wife Christina of Paducah, Melissa Milam, husband Steve of Symsonia, brother, Cameron Armstrong of Symsonia, uncle, Danny Shea, cousins, Lauren, Austin and Sydney Shea, step-uncle, Joe Milam, wife Beth, cousins, Gabe and Zack Milam, uncle, James Armstrong, uncle, Matthew Armstrong, wife Amy, cousin, Matt Armstrong, cousin, Caleb Armstrong, grandparents, Randy and Madonna Cox, Willie and Wilda Milam, Charlotte and Bobby Norwood.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Louie Armstrong.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 2 at Collier Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Provine Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 3 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1 at Collier Funeral Home.
