Mr. Glenn Douglas “Doug” Clark, 72, of Benton passed away Friday, March 3 at his home.
He was born Monday, October 30, 1944 in Pontiac, Michigan. He was the son of the late Sidney Clark and the late Sylvia Alma (Caverly) Clark. He was a self-employed carpenter.
He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving are sons, Robert D. (Belinda) Clark of Symsonia, Dallas G. (Melissa) Clark of Paducah, Scott E. (Catherine) Clark of Benton and Timothy J. (Melinda) Clark of Gilbertsville, daughters, Brenda Bennett of Benton and Traci L. (Chad) Heiges of Traverse City, Michigan, brothers, Clayton Clark, Norman Clark and Paul Clark, wife Jeanie, sisters, Leanore Braga (Glenn) and Judith McNeil, (Jim). 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara A. (Smith) Clark, by brothers, Richard Clark, Stanley Clark, Dale Clark, Michael Clark and Clyde(Kim) Clark, sisters, Mary Spencer (Kaye), Ardith Schwerin (Ernie) and Sherrie Sue Clark (Smith).
Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 11 at Hartsfield Cemetery. David Frazier officiated. Interment followed the service.
Collier Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
A memorial service was held Saturday, March 11 at 5 p.m. at the Draffenville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Benton.
